When I wake up in the morning, one of the first things I get excited about is what am I going to wear. and recently I’ve figured out that you can take an otherwise normal simple outfit and make it so much cooler by adding just a couple little things to it.
So today I’m going to talk about that, even if I’m not a beauty blogger. I’m trying to channel my inner ‘girl’ thing, because my mum always says to me, ‘Act like a girl, dress like a girl’ while I am a tomboy girl (is that even a word?).
So, here are 5 tips style that I use every day, inspired by the one and only Connor Franta. Enjoy 🙂
- Rolled Up Jeans
Recently I really like to rolling up my jeans and show a little ankle. I saw men did that, so I thought to myself, ‘Why don’t you give it a try?’ Even though my mum always judges that rolled up jeans that I wear, I’d still going to do that. Usually, I wear my pants in the normal ways with no rolled-up. But if I’m feeling confident that day, I’d roll up my jeans and looking fancy. This is how I roll my jeans, and yes I know a lot of style hacks from Pinterest, so you’re welcome.
- Rolled Sleeves
Not only jeans, I usually roll up the sleeves of my shirts and t-shirts. I love to wear plaid shirts and they’re long-sleeved, so I have to roll them up because it’s hot out there. Just roll them up a little bit, and there you go, looking all casual. Same thing applies to t-shirts, it’s gonna look good on you if you roll those sleeves a liiiitle bit more, and done.
- Fancy Shoes
OK, usually girls wear high heels, wedges, and stuffs (I don’t really understand those things). But I’m here, wearing men shoes, and it looks good on me. It’s cute, and the surprising fact is that my mum is the one who bought me that, and she said, ‘I thought you’d like it, boys stuffs,’ and she gave me that! That’s my favorite shoes. I have a pair of high heels but I only use it if only at special occasions. So if I’m hanging out with my friends, I use this shoes.
- Ponytail Hairstyle
I do this everyday, because I think this hairstyle is really casual and perfect for me. I have a lot of hair ties and they’re all black, and it suits my hair because it’s black. If you know how to pull a ponytail style perfectly, you’d look like a goddess (aka Kylie Jenner, or Kendall, I don’t know).
- Wear Accessories
Wear accessories, anything. It could be pins, or your watch, or bandanas, anything. they’ll make you look cuter, trust me.
The art of clothing has no gender. People can put a label on clothing. But at the end of the day, anyone can wear it. It’s just clothing, so f*** you to traditional societal gender roles and stereotypes.
So, that’s all for today! Let me know in the comments below am I good enough to be a beauty lifestyle blogger? No, I’m joking! Let me know in the comments (this one is for real), do you agree with the phrase “clothing has no gender” and why. I really want to know what do you guys think about it!
Byee! 😉

I can’t wear heels any more as I had an operation on my foot but I always wear men’s sweaters – much more comfortable than womens…all tight and girly and usually stupid colours! Great post! xx
