63. Q&A! #AskPris

It is time for my first Q&A, yayy!

So, on my previous post I asked you guys to send me some questions that I have to answer in this post, and you guys seemed interested and asked a lot. Without further ado, let’s go!

Rissaid would like to know a few things!

  • How old are you?

I am 15 years old, so I’m pretty young?

  • What should we call you?

Usually my friends call me ‘Pris’, so yeah, let’s just stick with that nickname, it’s cute.

  • What kind of genre do you love the most?

Like movie genre? Or book genre? Or music genre? If it’s movies, I love action movies, but also mystery. If it’s books, mystery, let’s be real. But I’m craving for some romance novels too. And if it’s music, I’m currently really into EDM (don’t judge), but I love rock too.

  • Who’s your favorite writer?

John Green and Rainbow Rowell, hands down to the King and Queen of novels with lots of feels.

  • I’d love to know your playlist!

So I have this playlist called ‘aesthetic | pris.’ on my Spotify (follow me: priscillanth!) and it’s a bunch of my favorite songs at the moment and it’s updated weekly. So here’s my faves at the moment:

  1. 11 Blocks – Wrabel
  2. Wild Things – Alessia Cara
  3. Fashion – Jon Bellion
  4. Colors (Stripped) – Halsey
  5. Ilysb (Stripped) – LANY
  6. Heathens – twenty one pilots
  7. Here – Alessia Cara
  8. Human – Oscar Zia
  9. WILD ft. Alessia Cara – Troye Sivan
  10. Opportunity – Sia
  11. Unforgettable – Sia
  12. I Like The Way You Talk – Pascäal

minusthecynic would like to know:

  • Who is Tyler Oakley?

Well, Tyler is a YouTuber with 8M subscribers, and also the queen of the professional fangirls. I just— I could go on a list why you should know Tyler, so just check his YouTube channel, you’ll fall in love with his personality.

  • Write your opinion or what you think about Jesus or religion.

Here’s the thing. We live in a multicultural world, where in this world there are a lot of religions, believes, cultures, and stuff. Can’t we all just respect each other and live peacefully? Lovers, not haters. It doesn’t matter if in this world there are thousands of religions, it doesn’t matter. What matter is how do you pray to your God, because religion is just a way for us to communicate and interact with our God, our Creator, so basically we’re all praying to the same God. Maybe some of us joined this way of communicating with Him called Catholic, or Christian, Judaism, Muslim, Buddhist, Hinduism, Shinto, Agnostic. So, respect each other. We have the same God, and he doesn’t want to see us hating each other.

Hana a.k.a my new internet friend who happened to stumble upon my blog would like to know:

  • How not to be awkward around new people?

OK, we all maybe have experienced this. When I was on the camp last week, it was just so awkward meeting new people and stuff. They didn’t know us, we didn’t know them. My best advice is: be confident, be tough. If they see you being confident, perhaps they’d think, ‘If this person could survive on meeting new people, why cant I?’. Also, don’t forget to socialize. It feels good when you finally get a new friend from people you’ve just met.

  • How to be confident when alone in the crowd?

If you’re in the crowd, alone, and every second passing reminds you of home (whoops, Happy Little Pill reference), just chin up, assure yourself that you can do it on your own without people’s help. Also, maybe, text a friend, maybe they could help you out with some advices.

  • How to select potential friend among dickheads?

We all have that annoying mothereffing friends, let’s be real. To pick friends among them is a hard thing. But, for me, when I got into my junior highschool and have to pick a friend, I seemed to know which one would I pick even if I was new to that school and didn’t know anyone. If you see someone (and perhaps it’s your soulmate), you just seem to know, ‘Oh, I’d pick her or him, they seem nice and kind’. And also, get to know their personalities is another way to select friends.

  • How to let go of someone to point out you didn’t miss them?

Just let go. Move on. Stop stalking that person on social medias. Stop thinking about them (I know it’s hard, but gurl you gotta). Assure yourself that there’s another person that could replace them, maybe that person is better than them.

  • How to make new friends in real life?

Socialize. It’s a hard thing to do, but you have to step out from your comfort zone and think outside the box. Socialize is the only way to make neew friends in real life. (Also, the internet.)

samanthamurdochblog aka my internet mum would like to know:

  • Where do you see yourself in ten years time?

Honestly, I’m really afraid when people ask me about this thing, because I don’t like to think about my future, what will I become in the future. It really scares me. But, I don’t want to see myself working at the office, doing a normal boring life. I want to picture myself working independently, like becoming a psychologist or psychiatric, or being a writer or journalist. I don’t know, I just feel like I’m not going to experience a flat life. My life is about to get crazy and it’s going to be a fun thing to experience.

The Brunette Dreamer aka my lovely internet friend would like to know:

  • What is the most important thing in friendship?

I think it’s when two people are in a friendship and they’re ready to be at each other’s side when one of them is sad or feeling bad. Like, they would do anything for their friend, because they think their friend is really precious and they don’t want to let them their friend go or let someone else have them. It’s so cute, and it’s really personal for me.

  • Do you ever have a friend with benefit?

    Thank god, no. 🙂

    • What’s your spirit animal?

Troye Sivan Mellet, because duh. He’s me in every situation in this life.

      • Do you believe in true love?

Uh, I don’t really believe it, but I do believe in love at first sight.

      • Do you ever feel afraid to fall in love with someone?

Yes, I have! I’m afraid of what he would say about me, or what he would think about me. I just don’t want to think about that, and I’m scared of judgemental people. But as time goes on, I’m not really afraid anymore.

OK, Y’ALL THAT’S ALL OF THE QUESTIONS. It’s so fun, maybe we should do it again one day.

Let me know what do you think about my answers, like are they relatable enough or something. And anyway, happy Independence Day, America! It’s 4th of July, isn’t it? Well it’s still 3rd here in Indonesia, but I love America.

      Okay. Byee! 😉

Hi Pris! I love your blog. You write so well for someone so young, especially if English isn’t your first language (I think you said that before, you can’t tell!) Don’t stress about the future, what will be will be. If you do end up in a boring job you always have the opportunity to quit and do something else. Things will always work out ok in the end!

      5. All religions are not the same.
Why do you think someone would try to convert someone from another religion to their religion if they didn’t have different religious beliefs. ?
Jesus said i am the way the truth and the life noone comes to the father ( God )except through me.
Good to know where you come from
        Thanks for answering my questions
Respect for people from other religions doesn’t mean denying that other religions exist
Intolerance is not allowing others to believe something different from you
Ps I have been to your country
I love the food and people
        You have some interesting temples
i love that you have a restaurant there where you catch your own fish
Kopi luak is also very strong and memorable in a good way
        I also love 21 pilots
do you have the voice in Indonesia. ?
They covered them on the ozzie version 😀
I don’t know many good Indonesian artists but if you’re into heavy female rock singers u might enjoy the young and the restless

        1. I am sorry, I just wanted to share my opinion with the world and I’m pretty sure many people won’t agree with me 🙂 I’m a Christian, and yes, I do believe that Jesus is the only way for us to come to Father in Heaven above. And thanks for suggestion, anyway xx.

          1. Ok. Thanks for explaining where you’re coming from. My heart is gladdened that you also believe in Jesus. It’s not easy maintaining our faith in a sea of religious options but for us true believers there’s no alternative. I have also experienced the spiritual heaviness in ur country so I know when you say u love Jesus it is real cos its more likely to cost u something more than tithes n offerings. I was inspired by hearing of a pastor in your country who doesn’t ask for money he just relies completely on God’s provision. Xxx
